- Sponge clean only To clean our sheepskin boots by hand, we recommend the following steps: – Gently brush away any surface dirt with a soft brush – With a clean sponge, dampen surface (don’t soak) with a little cold water – Apply a small amount of specialist cleaning foam or wool detergent with the sponge – Wipe over with a damp, clean sponge to remove residue and allow to dry naturally – Dry away from direct heat and never expose to a naked flame – Avoid contact with lighter coloured materials as some colour transfer may occur
